Meet Dr. Darbie Hurst
Dr. Hurst, a native of the Seattle area, earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in 2008. She completed an equine internship before relocating to New Mexico in 2009, where she practiced mixed animal medicine for four years. In 2013, she transitioned to small animal medicine, a field she particularly enjoys. Her professional interests include senior pet care, canine and feline medical management, palliative and hospice care, preventive care, and client education. She takes pride in collaborating with clients to develop individualized care plans for their pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Hurst spends time with her husband, two young children, and her dog, Daphne. She also enjoys singing, hiking, and training her horse, Ophelia, in dressage and trail riding.
